DanielSteinBoth are pretty versatile in terms of being able to dress them up/down, but the Vanguard is a bit more formal overall. There is a slight price increase for the Vanguard because it comes with a spring bar tool, 2 additional straps, and a presentation box that is a bit more extravagant. If you don't necessarily care for these things, the price decrease reflects that. The Vanguard has applied block hour markers while the Pares has numerals. The Vanguard wears on the smaller side while the Pares wears on the larger size. The Pares has the day and the Vanguard has the date only.

ChristopherJThanks! are there any Superluminova/lume on the hands or markers? if so, how do they compare to the Vanguard Watch?
If possible, could you please take a picture of the watch in the dark?
