poor case, odd interface, seems to have failed after less than a year

as others have shown, this thing does not fit in its case. I can live with that, one star off. the interface is weird and intuitive. for some reason they decided a diode test feature was more important that a continuity test. I keep having to look at the manual to figure out how to get to some modes. 2 stars off for that. meters have standard symbols these days, I shouldn't need a manual. big points off for reliability. I don't use a DMM often, so the original batteries still show 1.5V on my other meters, yet this thing is reading 20% low on everything now, and doesn't read anything at all for 80% of the time. my 20 year old bottom grade radio shack clamshell meter is more reliable.

Don’t mind the DMM, I also thought it would be smaller. For automotive applications it does the job. The undersize soft case is just ridiculous and a deal breaker. Who in their right mind supplies a protective case that’s too small for the product.

I might be missing something but the nice "case/holster" that comes with the tool is not long enough to close the flap...if the red tip would come off of the tool it would close but the red tip makes it too long (maybe the red tip comes off...I couldn't unscrew it). for THAT reason, I don't like it...functionally, it seems fine. IF someone knows the secret to get the flap to close on the holster, please let me know...thanks

a few things disappointed me on this one but for the money I’m not too upset. First is I hoped was a little more pocketable than it turned out to be it will fit in your back pocket ok but was hoping for something I could carry around in my front shirt pocket all day and this isn’t it. Second not sure if it’s just my meter or not but it doesn‘t really differentiate between AC and DC well in fact if I put it on DC function it won’t read either AC or DC voltage but if I put it on AC it will read both accurately but still indicates as AC even if it is DC (see attached photos of 24vdc circuit). Last gripe is the meter doesn’t fit into the case with a lead attached without poking the lead tip through the case it would be nice to carry it ready to go without putting a hole in the case. All in all it works ok for me to grab for a quick dish if I don’t want to grab my whole tool bag but if I’m doing an in depth diagnostic ill still grab my fluke meter

Utter rubbish. I would like my money back or another pair of arms. Because the battery holder only makes contact with the circuit board if I hold it down with two hands.
