This is insane... These are essentially the same Navy Boondockers that I wore when I first enlisted. Hated them then... Heavy and uncomfortable over long periods of wear, but durable as hell. This price though, is out of the ballpark... There is is no way in Hell, that I would pay $500, $450, or $400 for a pair of Navy Boondockers. I would pay maybe $150... But guys... This is not a great boot we're talking about here... Lowa's, Asolo's, Danner's... Those are GREAT boots. This is just a boot that makes it look like you once did something. You want a pair of Boondocker's... Join the Navy.

Skater718No, no I can assure you these are not just "navy boondockers". I bought these same boots outside of massdrop several years ago and they remain, hands down, the single best footwear I have ever experienced. My roommate wears their X-boot and practically sleeps with them on.
Don't talk about what you don't understand, Dayton quality is beyond legendary.
