This was my first experience using massdrop. Can anyone confirm that it is not always like this?

DjfreaxxxIt's not. Unfortunately on this drop the publisher of the game pushed back the release date. The distributor Massdrop is using won't be able to fulfill their end of the sale until then, delaying when we the buyers will get the product in our hands.
