kilo5xrayNot sure why you're hung up on the 1000m rating? It's not like you'd EVER be at that depth...alive. I have in my collection 17 Deep Blue watches and they're all rock solid.
StrmwatchI wasn't really asking if someone here had experience at 1000m with this watch. 1000m sounds crazy at this price point, so it was more a question to see if anyone got good use out of these watches or if they're just making crazy claims about a crap watch. Sorry the first comment was poorly worded
StrmwatchImagine finding a $10 phone case that claims it can protect your phone from 350ft drops. I'm never going to drop my phone from from 350ft, but I'm still going to ask around about the quality of the product because such crazy claims on a low priced product seem suspicious. You say they are good watches, so I believe you. Glad to see I was concerned over nothing
6lackAnd I quote directly from one of his/her follow up postings:
" it was more a question to see if anyone got good use out of these watches or if they're just making crazy claims about a crap watch".
Claims it's a crap watch...so of course I'm going to ask about that comment.
Thank you. I appreciate the helpful reply, as apposed to getting caught up on the fact that I said I didn't know if the watch was "crap", and then misinterpreting that as me bashing the watch and freaking out
StrmwatchNever claimed it was a crap watch, I asked if anyone got good use out of it or IF it was a crap watch. I was clearly asking if it was crap, not saying it was crap. I have no personal experience with the brand, so I was asking for people's opinions
Darkprinceluciferit isn't just the depth that you dive. it is also your activity. I like the 1000 meter rating and I don't dive. I surf. the pressure that a breaking wave puts on a watch (or human) is intense.
