Deep Blue has a solid rep. I would never buy anything from them at regular price, not because they aren't great watches, but because they run a huge sale a couple times per year (something like 40-50% off). When they are discounted that deeply (no pun intended), you'll be hard pressed to find the features that some of them have (such as 1000M rating, sapphire crystal, tritium tubes etc.) for the same amount money in another watch. Glad to see them on Massdrop!
I'm a little sad because I'm almost certain that the Pro Tac collection used to be $299 and you could find them for well under $200 during one of Deep Blue's sales. It looks like MSRP has gone up to $399. Still a solid watch for $199 here on MD!

LateralusI feel the same way. I have two Deep Blue watches that I bought off their web site. Great watches no doubt---mine are the Swiss made models and built like a tank. However, during the Deep Blue sale my watches were very heavily discounted---way below what I paid for mine---and I no longer trust Deep Blue prices.
