Going to give these a try on my Beyerdynamic DT880s. Bought some Brainwavz ROUND pads a couple weeks ago, but the lip that fits around the cups were so large that they wouldn't go on tightly enough to stop rotating on my head. Would rather get something that's built to fit properly instead of taking scissors to them.

djplaeskoolAre you getting the velour pair? I have tried many pads on the 880s and leather pads just close off the sound stage too much. I'd go velour or fenestrated if I were you. But 80 dollars for pads is insane go for velours.

UzuzuI actually have velours already. I'll be using these in an environment where I'm intentionally looking for more isolation, so I wanted to give the memory foam leather pads a try, and $35 seems like a fair price for the experiment.

djplaeskoolAnd how are the velours on the 880? Change the sound sig? How thick are they in millimeters, if you'd measure?

dekoniDekoni I have a great idea for you. Can you guys manufacture pads for the Audio-Technica AD series? They are considered Hi-fi and plenty of people have them, and have long been concerned with their shallow pads and their small ear openings. It'd be another great venture.
