Nickslife89I own the Audio Technica ATH-MSR7 and, as a general rule of thumb, pads that fit the M50-X also fit the MSR7, although of course I haven't actually tried these exact pads.
rhenomWhich ones did you try? Im really trying hard here to find the perfect pads for my msr7. Tryed the plether hm5 but they kill much or the bass, push the highs back and kinda make them also a bit more sharp. Dont like that. But i so do like the comfort.Dont know what else to get. From reviews, these dekoni's came up.But given their fuking high price, i dont want to go on a limb again. So, the stock pads are simply to small for my gigantic ears. What else have you tryed on them that worked?
rhenomThese dekoni premium sheepskin seem to have a bigger inner whole then the stock msr7 ones. Lets say, even if they have the same opening size, but are half a centimeter taller/thicker, i would be ok with it. But i am even more concerned and interested about the way they alter the sound.Hoping to hear some on that from people who have tried them on the msr7. And to note on the alcantara pads, i dont really think its desirable to put that type of breathable material pads on sealed headphones. Alters the soudn alot, sealed headphones with open pads, not a good combo. Thank you for the info though, mate.
