Does anyone know from experience if the opening on the memory foam pair for Beyerdynamic has the same size opening as the standard and velour? I've always bought replacements from Beyer because I was worried about the opening, and from the pictures they appear to be considerably smaller.
I would like my DT880/COPs to stay over-ear as no amount of memory foam or plush leather is going to make them comfortable as on-ears.

HeadRush33I have the leather/memory foam Dekoni pads on my 880's. They definitely have enough room for my ears, and still function as designed, as over ear headphones. They are really comfortable. Definitely more isolated than the velour pads that came with the 880's, to be expected, I've really enjoyed the change, and it hasn't affected the soundstage to detriment.

GregLastThanks, I actually picked these up in the last drop after getting reassurance from a different online retailer that the inside circumference was the same as the stock pads. I also find them comfortable, but I did notice that the stitching is a little uneven and Dekoni uses the term "memory foam" very loosely. While the "protein leather" is rather plush the stuffing feels just like that of a normal set of pads.
