I had the T50RP, they require a butt load of power. I had my Schiit Asgard 2 at 1 o'clock to get great sound out of these.
If you guys are looking or considering a different type of planar-magnetic headphones, then look up GTR, it's $199.99

MannyAkimDo you own the GTR? How does it compare to the HifiMan offerings, like the HE560? or even the 400i? Can you give some personal reasons for your recommendation?

MannyAkimThank you.... just wanted to know your personal experience with them.
I have read and seen the headfi schtuff. But you are here, so I just thought I'd ask. I respect Jude and the crew. But another view from somebody who recommends them is never a bad thing.

TiffanyPoodleslideI'm in the same boat as you. I never had a chance to test these so I don't know. I read all over the internet and came to the conclusion that I will gamble $199 for a $399 headset. Sorry I couldn't help you.
P.S. I gambled $150 for the Sennheiser HD58X, it's getting all the praises on head-fi.

TiffanyPoodleslideI know nothing about Advanced or their GT-R, save that the crowdfunding campaign hasn’t reached their goal (60% with a month to go), and that it doesn’t deliver until an estimated November 2018. Also, crowdfunding is not buying a product... it’s a risk, an investment in trust that the company will succeed to deliver. Could it be awesome? I don’t know, but I like to see companies succeed and grow.
The Dekoni Blue, that is a known quantity for me. I have one. Warm, exciting, and fun, this “official mod” has extra bass and “solid” sounding mids but is tastefully fun, a contender against the dynamic driver Philips Fidelio X2 but a complimentary contrast to the AKG K7XX and Sennheiser HD 6XX. It’s an easy recommendation for EDM, trance, hip hop, and pop, really effective at conveying the energy and emotion of tracks without sounding as blurred and slow as cheap bassy headphones. It may lack the ultimate refinement of top of the line headphones 4x the price, but it’s most of the way there and clearly better than typical mainstream products.
Hopefully this provides some idea of the character of the Blue, so people can gauge for themselves if it seems like it suits their taste.

MannyAkimI have a preproduction HD 58X, wish I got to hear the final release version! Reads like a fun open headphone. At this point, I have so many headphones, I might as well go for complete collections, haha.
