Can you guys update the specs on these to tell us impedance and sensitivity? That matters way more than what's actually listed (copy-pasted below), some of which aren't even specs (e.g. the partnership between Dekoni and Fosted).
  • Dekoni Blue is a partnership with Fostex
  • Semi-open design based on T50RP MKIII
  • Only Fostex-sanctioned T50RP MKIII mod available
  • Limited-edition blue ear cups and flat black slider rails
  • Fostex’s proprietary Regular Phase (RP) planar-magnetic driver (used in T50RP MKIII)
  • Dekoni’s asymmetrical Elite Hybrid ear pads with sheepskin, velour, and memory foam
  • Detachable 6.6 ft (2 m) cable with ¼ in (6.35 mm) plug
  • Padded headband for extended comfort
  • Tuned and adjusted by Dekoni founder and audio engineer Tal Kocen

dingieSaw a few earlier reviews mention the specs. Impedance: 50 Ohms (not bad but...) SNR: 92db/mW which is fairly sensitive I would factor the SNR sensitivity over the lower impedance. These are Planars after all. Probably need some juice. Source(s): http://headphone.guru/dekoni-audio-blue/ https://www.turntablelab.com/products/dekoni-audio-dekoni-audio-blue-headphones-fostex-t50rp I think EposVox' video in the description mentions it as well.

devolutionaryIt's really not very sensitive at all...
devolutionaryIf by “fairly sensitive,“ you mean “needs noticeably higher volume settings to sound as loud as a 300 Ω HD 6XX” and “you can comfortably turn the volume up to max on an iPhone 6S, and sometimes wish for more headroom,” then I agree. It’s a practical benefit to use a dedicated amp with this headphone, but musically it rewards that effort.
I have the headphone, but I don’t have the specifications on hand, so I do appreciate you posting them.

EvshrugYes, although looking back, I guess I didn't word my summary very well.
devolutionaryWell, again at least you showed the specs, and I agree with you it definitely sounds better with some juice (over what a smartphone can give).
