One of the employees of our office always used a baby seatbelt cover on his Q701 and K612. The Q701 bumps, if you’ve tried them, are very firm and have about as much compression as the leather headband on the K612/K7XX. AKG also changed their K701 model from having a bump at the center to having bumps to either side of center, because the middle bump was causing a hotspot for many people. The Dekoni Nuggets, on the other hand, are about 3x as thick and MUCH softer and squishier, the Choice Leather fabric is also softer than the “hard boiled” leather headband and even is softer and less sticky than regular leather used on earpads. Plus, you can stick on the Nuggets how YOU like.

(The owner of the K612 says the padding flattened out and doesn’t feel cushy anymore, just fuzzy from the wool-like wrap) Versus the Nuggets:

Note: The owner of the K612 above is balding, so he applied the Nuggets with a wider center gap so the peak of his crown would have no pressure. Congrats to him on getting padding upgraded from baby products and into the big leagues! 🤣 You can get Aesthetically creative:
