VollyOk, after a listening session over the last day or so, I have say these pads are fantastic.
Does it change the sound of my beloved HD600? Well, I'd say it's subtle, really subtle! Perhaps a tad less airy and that little more focused! It was really hard for me to pick the difference to be honest.
Comfort wise, I had to adjust my headband about three extra clicks each side, which made them fit my head/ears perfectly again. The ear fits in the pads that little more snug but wasn't an issue even after a long 5 hour listening session! The pads are that little more stiff out of the box but found that they are conforming a little easier to my head today. Also, due to the snug fit they stick to your head like glue!
Just a little more on the sound again, I have two audio setup, 1- Theta Cobalt dac/Asgard 2, 2- Hifime9018 (optical)/Vali 2 (tungsram 7dj8). Both setups to me sound great and I had a lot of fun going between the two with the HD600 with the new pads. I didn't hear any worrisome congestion or any extra distortion with the new pads, I can't speak for everyone's experience but I was very impressed, thankfully! Mid range is still presented stunningly, the bass has a little extra kick or feels like a bit more body to the bass and the highs sounds like they rise much more consistently than before. I will mention that there seems to be a little more prat to the albums/songs that I was listening to, sounds more cohesive and together than say, laid back and distant. I have a few headphones and the HD600's are mainly my reference headphone when I want to analyse and study a track or an album but never really my daily driver like say, Tx0RP or Philips X2. But now I reckon they got some groove going on in here!
Please take the above with an extra pinch of salt as I'm no music or sound professional, just someone who's had a pair of HD600's for a good 5-6 years and needed a new set of pads desperately. I've been looking for replacements for a good year to be honest but couldn't pull the trigger on anything, I didn't want to bite the bullet and just another pair from Sennheiser because to be honest I just didn't like the original pads, yes they are comfortable but my pair just got too dirty with dust and hair (yuck!), cleaning them were a choir and you could feel it when the foam was giving up the ghost! But know I have the Dekoni Hybrid's, I'm loving the look and comfort but I would like to offer Dekoni some feed back and I hope they listen.
Dekoni, these are fantastic ear pads for the HD600's, truly they are but I would suggest to increase the overall size that little bit more, give us another XL size to choose from (coined it for you Dekoni!) Everything else, the materials, the stitching, the design are simple top notch! Your package, OMG!! beautiful, having the rings already built in to the pads is such a massive help and relief, simply pull off your old ones and whack on the new ones is just brilliant!

Installation is a breeze and only takes seconds to put on thanks to the pads already having the rings on the pads. Just a note, I don't have the inner foam installed on mine. I had to adjust the headphone sliders just another notch to full fit my head again as these pads are that little bit wider!
Sound wise, will have to do a proper listening session but from early impressions, I'd say there is a very slight change to the overall sound. Stay tuned.
