TheTerriblePuddleROFL I have the Velour pads and they are exactly the same!! Have the sheep skin pads incoming, i snagged these outside of Massdrop for $45 and $70 respectively, with free shipping.

TheTerriblePuddleimpossible, as we design the pads, send the specs to our factory, and this was one of the most complex ones we've ever done. The attachment to the HD800 is quite complicated and we went through about 20 modifications to get this final production run. The first prototype was back in May...
what is most likely is they took the pictures off our site, and will send something that looks similar but is not the same in build quality, warranty,

I met a guy at ALMA last year that did all of the R&D, testing, validation, and footwork for his own headphone design; he paid a Chinese supplier 150k USD to produce the die for manufacturing, but when he visited the factory, they had posters up advertising his headphones for sale. In fact, they had been selling his headphones as early as 3 months before they had agreed to begin headphone delivery. Unreal.

dekoniCan you please sell the damn pads so I don't have to buy them from China? Because this waiting for Massdrop thing is a real turnoff. Have you finally posted them on your site? Otherwise these are the same thing and get here faster direct from your supplier. All I need to do is cut out the built-in dust cover and pop them on.
