Guys please don't ruin the discussion part by introducing some random HD800 aftermarket pads. I'm sure you have a clear answer in mind whether you want to buy those aftermarket pads or the Dekoni pads. 44.99 sounds like a good price especially when you compare it to the stock price, and there really aren't a lot of options out there.

zhouharveyDekoni ARE aftermarket pads. And there is no proof that they aren't just repackaging those.

zhouharveyWhoops. Apologies.. i got super busy with work. Ill try and take some pictures tonight. I have been using the Cheaper ones (Velour) for about 3 days now and they sound and feel exactly the same as Dekoni. Even the build has 0 differences.
I was able to get my Dekoni pads for $45 , and the cheap ones for about $40. So i guess you can understand what im trying to get at...Dekoni will obviously deny the fact that "oooh they are fake yada yada". End of the day both Sound , look and feel exactly the same.

bloodhawkThanks for the review on the Chinese pads vs Dekoni. Do you feel that the aftermarket velour pads are noticeably more comfortable than the original Sennheiser pads? Do they alter the sound in a noticeable way? (for either better or worse). I understand that pleather/sheepskin is going to keep more bass in but was wondering if the thickness of the Dekoni velour pads make any difference for the sound.

AngraAfter markets pads are wayyy comfortable than the stock pads. Plus they help take the pressure off from the top of your head. As they are thicker, they clamp better and that in turn take the pressure off of the top. Sound changes, i literally havent noticed any. People will go into crazy details and look at Freq graphs, but end of the day that matters is they sound just as good if not better. Bass is the same as before.

bloodhawkGod haha that sounds amazing!! My one complaint with the HD 800 was pressure building up on the top of my head. Thanks so much for the reply! I would like that comment over and over again if I could hahaha
