CWHSGThe Fine nib on my Esteem and the Medium nib on my Excellence are both a little on the wet side - but I haven't had any real trouble with them on the cheap copier paper I've got in my laser printer at the moment. They'll be more prone to feather and bleed on really poor quality paper than a Japanese F or a European EF - but you'll have that problem with most fountain pens!
JamerelbeHey @Jamerelbe -- Great info, thanks for sharing. Which Excellence do you have?
I've been talking to the vendor about making those available, we'd like to offer the Plus as well.
[edited: I see that you have the A, curious if you have the Plus or not.]
JonasHeinemanThe standard Diplomat Excellence A (not the plus), in Marrakesh finish. I like the sound of the Plus, but the Excellence A is a lovely, classically styled pen.
