I've been craving for a cursive italic nib on my Diplomat. I've just figured out that i can swap on a specialty nib from my italix captain's commission, which I also adore tremendously, despite of the low price tag :D

Bulk order shipped! The vendor informed us that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive on 7/14.

Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Diplomat Excellence A Evergreen Fountain Pen and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 7/25.

Finding some other Diplomat brand reviews from the past few years and thought they were worth sharing. The company is no longer owned by the founder's granddaughter ( as stated in the article), but everything else seems to be pretty much accurate and on-target. http://www.fieldnotesblog.com.au/2012/03/diplomat-pens.html?m=1

god, that color is nice. Such a tempting purchase. Does anyone have this pen already, or anything from Diplomat and can say how smooth their nibs are? Thinking of the Fine 14k, but at that price and the fact I know nothing about the company worries me on purchasing it.
