god, that color is nice. Such a tempting purchase. Does anyone have this pen already, or anything from Diplomat and can say how smooth their nibs are? Thinking of the Fine 14k, but at that price and the fact I know nothing about the company worries me on purchasing it.

TheDarkTrumpetAppreciate your interest! Here's a link to a recent review of this pen--I will let it speak for itself.
if the link doesn't work, look for Sbrebrown and Evergreen on YouTube.

DiplomatUSAThanks for the link, really positive review. Is there much more line variation from the gold nib, fine? or is it about the same as the steel? Is the gold nib a hard or soft nib?
Thanks also for answering questions here. The fact you're very engaging with the community is a great thing.

TheDarkTrumpetGlad to help. The gold nib is a bit softer, allowing some line width variation. But I don't think you would consider this big number 6 nib as springy. If I find a mother review or two I'll post the links.
