Research I've conducted show that if this is in fact V1, the differences are the motors, easy to remove prop design, and camera mount. Here is the feedback I've also discovered about these changes, and the consensus is that they are minimal. 1. The motors are better, and allow for more agility and a bit more power, but this is because the newer mount and the Pro camera is heavier. 2. The props are totally a preference thing. Some complained about them, so they redesigned them. 3. The new mount is heavier, but it can be purchased separately and installed on the Version 1 with a 2-3 minute flight reduction time due to the weight and not having the newer motors.
With the price drop you are saving about 400 dollars retail when it's all said and done. I think that's a pretty good deal if you are looking for a deal.
A note about the pro camera - I've read some reviews, and watched some videos comparing the original 4k camera and the pro camera, and it seems that many people are complaining about the quality of the pro camera. The specs are better on the camera, but the actual image coming out is muddy (meaning not clear). Look into it yourself, and see what your thoughts are. I'm excited to get this guy in my hands to see what I can do with it.
