Hi All, Many have posted comments concerning warranty backing and the Mavic Pro. Massdrop is purchasing the Mavic Pro bundles through an authorized reseller which is traceable through the serial number issued to each individual Mavic Pro. DJI's standard 1 year warranty will be applicable for Mavic Pro's purchased through Massdrop.com as the serial number will show the authorized re-sellers account information. In the case of the optional warranty that is being sold on DJI's website called the "DJI Care Refresh Program", if purchased DJI will provide coverage regardless of the reselling source as it is an optional extended warranty provided through DJI themselves. I have provided a link to the DJI Care Refresh program's terms and conditions below. http://www.dji.com/service/djicare-refresh Cheers!

DaveHoffJust got done talking to DJI support. They specifically said any warranty claims or applications to DJI care need to have a receipt from an authorized retailer.
"To provide you with ever better service, DJI will now only provide warranty services for products purchased from Authorized Resellers. Products purchased from unauthorized Resellers are not subject to warranty services. This rule takes effect today (August 1, 2016) When applying for a warranty service, the sales invoice of the product requiring warranty repair must be provided."

benmosconaHi DroneKevin,
Massdrop is purchasing the product from an authorized distribution source, the massdrop included invoice with transaction number will be sufficient for DJI Warranty claims. There is also the double layer of protection offered by the Massdrop warranty which I have included a link to below, which states the following:
Massdrop will attempt to replace any defective or malfunctioning product by contacting the vendor or manufacturer on your behalf. In the event a replacement cannot be sourced, Massdrop reserves the right to offer you either an alternative, comparable product, or refund the purchase price minus the cost of shipping and handling (to the original payment method or in the form of credit to your member account). You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping should the item need to be returned.

DaveHoffWho determines what an "alternative / comparable product" is? I am interested in buying one from your site but if it breaks I would either want warranty coverage from DJI, the exact same replacement product, or a refund. I am not interested in getting some random replacement.

taylorharris50The warranty is through DJI, you can send it directly to DJI for warranty repairs. You're talking about the ADDITIONAL 1 year warranty that Massdrop offers if the manufactures warranty is say 90 days. If you read the language of the Massdrop warranty, it states this.
