The difference are simply three things; first the camera. The DJI Phantom 3 Professional boasts a camera capable of shooting 4K footage at up to 30 fps, while the Advanced version is lower at 1080p.
The second difference is the DJI Intelligent Flight Battery charger. The DJI Phantom 3 Professional comes with a 100-charger that means shorter charging times for the new 4480mAh 4S LiPo Lithium battery used in the new Phantom 3. This of course means less stress about having the right amount of batteries on a long day of shooting. The Phantom 3 Advanced comes with a 57-watt charging unit meaning longer charging times.
The third difference is the price.
