Be aware and warned that Massdrop does NOT confirm the validity of products being sold through their site. They make arrangements with vendors who handle and ship out the product from themselves. What I received for this drop was a blatantly and sloppily resealed box of Dominaria, that had clearly been slit open to get to the packs and then poorly melted back together. Lots of bits of melted plastic, and on one top corner they had messed up trying to fit it right so a bunch of extra plastic bunched up. I contacted Massdrop and they gave me 2 options: a return label for a full refund, or a partial refund and keep it. Not knowing just how badly tampered with the box was, I didn't feel comfortable sending it back to the vendor so they could sell it to someone who may not notice. So I opened the wrapping and looked at the packs. The packs were very, very, VERY obviously opened before. The tops and bottoms of packs had a lot of inconsistent parts, lots of little gaps and misaligned spots on what should be machine-sealed packs. They were wobbly/wavy and bent, and in certain spots they were noticeably stiffer as if they used too much glue in some places. Oh yeah, and I could smell the glue upon opening the box and especially after picking up a pack and looking at it closer. At the time of writing this I haven't bothered actually opening even 1 pack, and am trying to continue contact with Massdrop support to see what options can be pursued. In my opinion they should take responsible actions against this vendor, but currently I expect to hear back that because I opened the wrapping I no longer have a choice, at which point I'll have to report the fraudulent seller to my credit card company. Which sucks, but if that's all the leave me with so be it. I would recommend not bothering with buying on this site. Saving $10 on something like this isn't worthwhile when Massdrop makes no attempt to ensure you're actually getting what you pay for, and I wouldn't trust their word or assurance that product will be legitimate without proof of who their vendors actually are. Basically this is no different than getting scammed by a slimeball on eBay, only you can't spot it because Massdrop is standing in the way of all the info that might identify the fraud before it's too late. I'm severely disappointed in how this went, it's clear Massdrop is trying to have as light a touch on what's being sold through them as possible and push responsibility to unnamed vendors. The meager savings to offered aren't worth the high risk of scams in cases like this where they let an unknown to you party handle everything about the product with ZERO oversight. Just go pay a normal price (aka $10-15 more) elsewhere and actually get the product instead of getting ripped off.

NVentureSo I wasn't crazy! I was opening packs and rares would be in the wrong spot and a few had 2 rares /MR in them. The outside didn't look like yours but damn man, i'm upset as can be. I'm going to test my luck to see if I can get anything back but since all packs have been opened, I probably won't.

JectersYep, whoever the vendor was for this is a complete scumbag. I would definitely contact Massdrop and tell them everything about it, give them detail if possible. At the very least they need to be given more evidence of the vendor's wrongdoings. Massdrop SHOULD take responsibility and refund everyone from the drop, and should be trying to pursue whatever action they can against this vendor. But I'm not sure how much they care, doesn't feel like they can be bothered even though I'm sure every single person who bought this drop just got scammed and if they're like me they won't bother using this site again.

JectersThat now makes three of us. Mine was clearly a repack job as well. Did you get a Karn in your box and the rest was garbage?

WarehouseI sent a support ticket to MD support WITH evidence that the product was tampered with. Waited 4 days, no response. Sent an email today get a response in 10 minutes saying they can't do anything. Put in a dispute with PayPal to get my money back. This is unbelievable. I don't even care about the cards, I care about getting a genuine product that was advertised
