A bit too expensive in my opinion?

KITTYYes, the only thing this keyboard has going for it is the aluminum case. Other than that there are pretty much no other features worth mentioning. But a lot of people are hating because some of us are asking for PBT keycaps with proper RGB backlighting support. It's the reason why I'm still waiting for Ducky Shine 6 Year of the Monkey 2016 Limited Edition. It seems the YOTM 2016 only has a metal top casing but it's better than nothing.
As I've said before, if this had properly backlit PBT keycaps and RGB lighting I would instantly buy it. But this keyboard is slightly short on features. Not the best buy IMO and not only that but the Waitfox is back so many are jumping to the 65% keyboard layout because it is very difficult to find a board with that kind of layout. I prefer full-sized keyboards because some of us actually use the NUMPAD on our keyboards for real work. While the Waitfox is nice I'm still holding out for the YOTM 2016 Limited Edtion.

6EQUJ5Have you seen the Ducky YOTM though? They painted lines all over it. I have Ducky Shine 2. It's compact and built like a tank. But every year I feel like their design gets worse and bigger bezels. Year of the Goat white RGB was really cool and unique but it was impossible to get one.

JamesXOf course I've seen it otherwise I wouldn't be talking about it. I haven no problem with the lines as it gives the keyboard some character. If you want a plain keyboard then buy a plain one. YOTM is not for everyone.
