Not trying to be too much of a dick here, but I don't see why number pads are so expensive. Any brand I come across charge around 2/3 of the cost of their regular boards. Maybe I'm ignorant of something somewhere, but it makes zero sense to me given the significantly reduced component and material necessity for the product itself.
I mean, my assumption is "because they can", but as I said: I'm not trying to be too much of a dick :3 haha

ClaridWell, the demand for a keypad, compared to a keyboard, would be quite low. Most already have a keypad as part of their keyboard. Too, this particular keypad is programmable and with RGB changeable lighting and high quality key switches, which adds to the cost.
Perhaps the cost could be less, but what would you charge if you spent a lot to develop this product and bring it to the marketplace? Sometimes we just have to try to understand those who make things for us.
I'm considering this product because I already use a gamepad to play my favorite game, where I've programmed many keys in close proximity to each other for quick access. The keypad would be handy for quick access to numbers I need to reach that I can't program into my gamepad as a combo to make certain call outs to other players. My keyboard just takes up way too much space, as I need that for my gamepad and for wide mouse movements, so it gets tucked away under my monitor stand. A keypad could be handy for me for quick access to numbers without having a big keyboard out interfering with my mouse movements.

ClaridExactly what I was going to say. When you can get a Magicforce 82 for $60, paying $70 for just a numeric kp is just out of line. Even if it has a display. I got actual calculators for that. Qisan (MF) with gat browns on Amazon is less than half the price. Carry this around in your pocket - are you kidding me right now? 😂

MustangWhen you buy directly from the manufacturer in China it costs 30$ (maybe even less for some) and I’m sure it doesn’t cost more than 5$ to produce one. I know they spent time on development, but everything g is a “scam” if you do t buy it directly from the manufacturer.
