Not to be negative Nancy - I have a hard time shelling out near $200 for a backlit board that doesn't have doubleshot backlit keycaps.

FesteringChildYet I wonder what the people at Ducky were thinking. People buy 60% boards, because they're compact and minimalistic. Comparing this Ducky to other 60% boards, the Ducky is a fair bit bigger in every way, yet brings little added value to the table to justify the increased dimensions.
If I'm going to pick a board that's larger than a Poker II, I might as well just take a TKL board.
My daily driver is a Ducky Shine 3 TKL and I absolutely love it, but I'm currently looking to get a 60% board for when I want to 'travel light' (just iPad + keyboard or laptop + smaller keyboard). But given the footprint, the Ducky mini is not going to be that 60% board for me. Which is sad, because I usually really like Ducky boards.

FesteringChildNo it is really not. Aircraft grade aluminum is extremely cheap. At metal supermarkets a high grade block of aluminum at that size prices out to $29.70CAD. Now consider what it costs in China.
