Bought these from Massdrop last time they were on and these have been absolutely fantastic. The sound is very comparable (both in detail and signature) to my Beyerdynamic DT990s but with the soundstage of a closed headphone. I haven't heard the DT770, but i'd imagine it would be very similar to that experience in travel-size.
For 165 bucks shipped, I don't think there's a better IEM. If you're on the fence, I'd say go for it!

jbk87Nice. I got my first taste with hybrids with the astrotec AX35 but I found the bass lacking. Picked up the Wooduo2, great bass, but single driver dynamic doesn't have the clarity that a hyrbid (w/ BA) has.
I love the Beyer house sound (vs. Sennheiser), and loved my DT770 and DT990 when I owned them - glad to hear these are similar to those. Hopefully these will be the end of my IEM search.
