This is the first time I've joined a drop here. I'd been contemplating a purchase of these since Dutchware introduced them in the P2F designs. I trust the DW staff to turn out a great product, so I'm really looking forward to these... Now just release the shirt Dutch is wearing in the video in a medium size ;)

I have a pair of these. Initially they were made by Luke’s Ultralight. But some time ago, Like, already a disabled veteran, was in a bad accident. It looks like Dutch is selling them now. I hope Luke is well.
The shorts are comfortable though not terribly breathable. They are pretty water resistant. They pack up to be about the size of a Bic lighter. I bought them to keep in my pack in lieu of a change of clothes. This way, if I really need to, I can wash my clothes while wearing these shorts.
I highly recommend these shorts for this purpose. They are also great for bathing/swimming.

Spend a little time in backpackinglight’s forums. The saga of LUL has gone on for well over a year with PayPal closing his account and various reports filed with authorities. (The hospital from the car accident was apparently only the first in a string that ended with opioid addiction and disappearing.) I started looking into light shorts before this drop and LUL sounded great until I read these reports. Sorry this was a while ago, so I don’t have any links handy.
Edit: to be clear, this is in reply to the Luke‘s suggestion, not about this Dutchwear drop.

MountainJayI picked up a pair of the Lukes on the last drop a few months ago. It came just as expected. People were talking then that he was having the order for Mass drop made by a different group than his normal shop. I picked up one to try and I really love them. I swore I would find the money to buy 2 more if they came back around. These aren't Lukes but I'm buying one to see how they fit. I also like the idea that these have the one pocket. The Lukes only have a clip for keys or to clip on a light pouch.
