I feel cheated after getting this thing together. The whole reason for paying this much for a chair is the adjustability WHICH THIS CHAIR DOES NOT HAVE. Every review on the DXRacer chairs always talk about this and even the description of these chairs is misleading to make you believe they're all the same adjustability wise when this isn't the case. Basically this is just a bolstered, over priced office chair. Hopefully I can sell it off for at least half of what it cost and buy a chair that will actually lock in a zero gravity position LIKE THIS ONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO.

Nec89What are you talking about? What about it isn't adjustable?

fitzgerald1337The arm rest don't move in and out or slide forward and backward and you cant lock the chair in any position like the ones they've showcased at CES 2015. You can move the arm rest up and down, adjust the spring tension, and adjust the back on these chairs but that's about it. The whole reason I paid so much for this chair is because they were one of the handful of chairs that would allow you to lock it into a zero gravity position but apparently you have to buy one of their king series chairs for that. When I'm gaming on a console I tend to sit forward with my feet on the ground and knees spread but in this chair its just not comfortable because the chair is too narrow and the bolsters push into the side of your thighs unless your ass is hanging halfway off the chair. I don't understand what the cheap plastic grips that are supposed to keep your feet from sliding off the base are even for in this series because the base legs are so short that you have to basically tuck your legs under the chair to put your feet on them. I'm only 5'5 and this chair is even too small for me. These things have no more customizability than your average mid to high end office chair so the only thing they have going for them is the look which I wouldn't waste what these chairs cost on. I actually believed all the hype about how great these chairs are and after getting it together and using it for about 2 weeks now I'm completely disappointed and I hate this thing to the point that over the past 2 weeks Ive slowly started using my desktop less and less in favor of my laptop just so I don't have to sit in it. If I had to describe the feeling of this chair its basically like being cramped in the center seat of a truck with 2 big dudes on either side of you with no room to move in either direction so if you're into that sort of thing then congrats this chair is perfect for you!

Nec89I'm 5'5" as well, and I feel like this chair is perfect for me. To each his own I suppose. Sorry you aren't happy with it.
You shouldn't shift the blame to anyone but yourself though. I felt like it was pretty obvious as far as which DXRacer chair you were purchasing. It's definitely not the King series, like you said, and I'm not sure why you would expect to get those types of features when it's pretty explicit about what the features of this particular chair are.
