Would this be ok for a 5'9 175lb guy? Would one of the others fit me better? Trying to find pictures or videos of people my size in these chairs is difficult..

beardedkgThis 'series' of chair may be too big for you. You could check on their website and look at their recommended height for their chairs.

beardedkgI'm a 5'8" 225lb guy. I'm giving the classic series a shot. If this one had the footrest I would have gotten this one. From what I can tell by reviews the headrest should fit perfectly for my height. Really hoping it does.

BoboLuckI just don't like that headrest because it's built in on the classic :/ this one looks like that but just with a removable one and no leg rest which I don't mind.

beardedkgI definitely agree that the removable headrest is more appealing. I do feel like I'm taking a big risk since there is no where around here to try the chairs out. You going to take a gamble on this one?

BoboLuckI think so. This youtuber grace is 5'7 and seems to fit this fine. I just think this is way more comfortable/spacious than the racing and other one.

BoboLuckFound this from a dxracer rep on reddit.
Iron Series: Back Height: 33 in Shoulder Width: 22 in Seat Depth: 20 in Seat Width: 21 in 18 in (front) 15 in (back) Seat Height: 18.5 in (lowest) 21.5 in (highest)
Racing Series: Back Height: 33.5 in Shoulder Width: 21.25 in Seat Depth: 19 in Seat Width: 19.25 in 13.5 in (front) 12 in (back) Seat Height: 17.5 in (lowest) 20.5 in (highest)
so the racing would actually be a little taller, so now I have 7 days to contemplate... lol

DreadfulYea like I said earlier the only reason I think this one over the classic is that this you can remove the head pillow while the classic has a bump that would probably push your head forward depending how it fits your body. Which did you get @Dreadful?

beardedkgI'm still undecided because of the head pillow on the classic and liking the looks more of the iron. Also because I'm considering just buying a Herman Miller Embody or Aeron instead, but I don't know if I want to give up being able to recline the back. Whatever I finally pick I don't plan on thinking about computer chairs for a long while after.

DreadfulThose are just so expensive. I might get the drift series from their site.. I'm just doing research and trying to decide. The I wish the aeron had a headrest area that's one of the things I want. Goodluck!

beardedkgI'm about the same height/weight (5'10", 165lbs), and I got this Iron Series one from a drop last fall. The lowest height is a bit higher than I'd like. I can set my feet flat on the ground, but only if I'm sitting fairly forward on the chair with good posture (I tend to slouch :-P). Also, I found the shoulder/upper back area a bit narrow due to how the padding on the sides fold in a bit. Overall, it's a nice chair, but I really think it would fit a taller and thinner (compared to me) physique better.
