I am 6'1" and 240. I have this chair and it is worth every penny. I got sick of going through chairs from the big box stores at $150-$200+ a pop, didn't matter if they were standard or big and tall/heavy duty. None lasted more than a year. The K series fits me perfectly. I would say that I am probably at the lower end size for it, though. I guess I am going on two years in it, and I spend 10+ hours a day at my PC. It still has the same stiction at each end of travel in the rocking mechanism as it had when new(It isn't wearing at all). I can't discern any wobbling or loosening anywhere. It has developed a pop in the spring when rocking occasionally, but I think it is because it is a really strong leaf spring in there and I like it tight. Oh, it will be the firmest chair you've ever sat in most likely, it will never feel like you are sinking into a basket over time. It is made for long haul use.

GToneI'm curious though... these chairs are really poorly regarded among people who give a shit about office furniture. If you're going to drop this kind of money, why not get a real chair and not one with a gaming skin that ups the price about $100?

parsHave you seen office equipment?
They up the price 200-500$ just with the word "office" or "cubicle" in the title

parsI don't have any office to sit in. This isn't office furniture and I bought it on reputation and warranty(lifetime for the seat) and for playing games/sitting in front of my PC for very long durations.
A real office chair like a steelcase is $700-$1200.
This chair is miles better than the junk sold at the big box stores, and affordable. The quality of mine is very high, it is very overbuilt/rugged. It is rated for all day use.

parsAnd this is the question that I would like to ask people buying these things. We all know gaming is a nice marketing buzz word put on substandard product at times (and other times great ones). I'm on the market for another chair and I spend way to much time sitting down already (getting a stand up desk also) and was wondering... are these things worth it? Are the cushions and padding going to last? I'm 5'6 and way over on one side of the scale but I've been thinking about purchasing one of these chairs but I keep on hearing that you shouldn't and should just purchase something like the Steelcase Leap over something like this even if the price of them is so high.
Since MD has done so many drops on DXRacer Chairs anyone with some long term use update?
