Well I finally got my green racer and after performing a through inspection it seems to in good condition, no cuts or missing parts. There were a few bangs on the box but nothing seems to have disturbed the chair inside. The chair sits relatively high compared to what I'd expect even after lowering the hydraulic piston all the way. I'm not sure what desk you'd sit at with the chair all the way up. It's very comfortable. Would be perfect if I could figure out a way to get it down a bit further lol.

Does anyone's arm rest rotate in or out at an angle mine don't, and clearly shows in the description page that it does
Chris_river5Yes mine do, but you have to twist *really* hard. If I hadn't seen a review where the reviewer showed just how hard he had to twist, I would have thought it didn't work. I guess this is a feature... as you can be sure it won't turn unless you want it to.

Just wanted to say that my chair was also damaged when I received it. I tweeted out to DXRacer and received an email to contact their support. The chairs come with a 2 year warranty on everything but the leather and a lifetime warranty on the frame.
The damage was at the bottom, and similar to other complaints, it was three small tears (exposing the inside) and a bit of a dent. DX Racer CS told me I'd hear back by yesterday, but I didn't. I reached out again and they said that they're looking into it and will get back to me soon.

The new seat came without any issues! It didn't take long for them to get me a new one and it is in perfect condition. If your chair has damage, I highly recommend contacting DXRacer directly.

jmadrakDXR seems to be either a bit disorganized or they're growing faster than they're able to deal with. I emailed them with sales questions and never heard back. I then bought direct from them and I ordered the wrong chair because their models were so confusing. I RMA'd the chair and bought a second one, but then I never got my refund on the first chair.
Six weeks later, I emailed to ask when I'd get my refund. They said they would look into it. No answer. Two weeks later I emailed again. This time they got around to issuing the refund.

I received my chair in seemingly flawless condition, but I can see how easily it could have been damaged through the flimsy packing material. That said, after reading some of the B-stock claims, I'm looking this chair over and am finding nothing to complain about (and if you read my history, you know I complain!). My sympathies to those that received a lesser experience.

My chair has some minor punctures but nothing crazy, other than that the chair is great, if mass drop can credit money back for the product to not being up to par
Otherwise there needs to be some action taken for this
These aren't the only dxracer chairs up on mass drop and they can continue to send damaged goods to your wonderful and loyal customers/users

Chris_river5Action needs to be taken up with the vendor here imo. They aught not get away with shipping damaged goods to massdrop customers without fair warning that the product being ordered is possibly cosmetically damaged stock. The premiss being of course that the item is a new DXRacer King Series PC Gaming Chair - OH/KF57 which was bought at prices negotiated upon due to order quantity. Not a price that was arrived at due to units being refurb or "otherwise unsellable" products. If this was an error on the part of the vendor then the vendor should be replacing damaged units, to include return shipping of the damaged unit, at their own expense.
All things considered, I'd really like to hear back from more people on this because we have a very small sample out of 92 total people here that received damaged goods and I'm curious as to whether there's a sample of DXRacer customers who purchase through other channels who receive similarly damaged goods and must deal with the issue as well. If it's roughly 5% here who have borked up products it could easily be within the statistical norm.
I'd be very interested to hear back from some of the people who received their chairs in perfect condition.

@Photex Our vendor shipped out the complete order yesterday at 5. However we were waiting for the confirmation that the chairs were on the way before update the group.

elimelendezI'm glad that the orders went out but there seems to be a real lack of comprehension on why I was canceling, your vendor screwed up, and in their screw up they got called out by people coming in here saying the products they were receiving have quality issues. Maybe I am the lucky one as these poor people who have torn chairs and mismatched parts will have a lot more trouble in getting refunds/returns, as for me Capital One already refunded my money and your accounting department will have to explain why. I feel really crappy about the whole thing because I browsed this site for months and recently started purchasing items and my first purchase has been a poor experience.
Again to just clarify i'm not salty about the delayed shipping just the quality control of the items being sent out.

I have still yet to receive anything from Massdrop as to where my new chair is... The lack of contact from the company is with out a doubt un acceptable. The moment the package was shown as in route to the return address of their choosing they should have shipped the back up chair and new tracking numbers that morning. I notice even with all this complaint there has been a lack of "official" commenting in here like there normally is. Please just get me what i paid for...

Theearthquake9That is totally unacceptable in my opinion and really is just proving to me that this is all B-Stock chairs, from reports of really banged up boxes, banged up finishing, and slices these chairs were kicked around a warehouse and now they are dumping old stock to make room for new designs. I sent another demand for refund, I never received an updated tracking number for the 2nd shipment so in my eyes it is not too late to cancel.
I got my bank on speed dial and will refuse the package at the door if it shows up.

PhotexIt's too late for me to do anything... but lesson learnt... never EVER again buy anything using massdrop... massdrop = returned shipments of some companies or manufacturing errors to be sold out for a cheaper price...

So the re-routed Chair has made it to San Francisco yesterday when it was supposed to, and now has a delivery date of Friday with no further updates whatsoever.
Massdrop stated that the replacement chairs should be shipped out early this week, Does anyone have an updated tracking #? I don't. Also Where is the update that is supposed to happen today?
As far as the request to refund for Photex you can refuse the package when it comes (or leave a note for the UPS guy to refuse 70+ lb packages on the door, then take it up with the payment method vendor you used. Paypal has a 6 month policy, Credit cards can be shorter.
