Can anyone shed some light as to why/how these chairs are "tested to far exceed the functionality and convenience of a regular office chair"? High quality ergonomic office chairs run for twice the price. How and why is this chair better than an ergonomic office chair?
I feel like the quoted statement is just an intentionally vague marketing ploy, "regular office chair" probably means a cheap chair from walmart or something. Not the industry standard quality ergonomic office chairs that cost in the range of $500-$1000.

angepocalypseI know a lot of LAN gaming center with a whole set of DX Racer, people will sit there for 8-12 hours, even the business that open 24/7 have these chairs for years and they're still in good condition. Most cheap chairs come with plywood and poor form materials, they will break or get flat eventually. The build quality is good, not as great as steelcase or Herman Miller Aeron chair, but some people will get a bad chair... And the design of the chair isn't really meant for people who will spread their legs, since the chair is too narrow. Most people will buy this because of the design (it looks cool, and Aeron is just to professional but it'll last for a decade). CL do sell steelcase and Aeron for $150-$400.
