Not if the list is months out and active before overlapping buys... It's not rocket science here...

MuftiThere will always be delay periods and overlap time between people's purchases, that's just how online shopping works since each retailer decides their sales and prices. It's not rocket science, but retail can be a bit complex.

NukulsIs everyone just completely daft on this site? There absolutely would be less risk buying something with a schedule versus not. You're all arguing minutia, against improving your buying experience? Massdrop is more than capable of drawing up a release schedule, as are the hundreds of other sites that work in sales. They absolutely have the brains to figure out "Lets give notice for multiple similar products, so people don't waste money on one and miss another.". It's not even High School level logic here. Yeesh.

Mufti"Is everyone completely daft on this site?" No. Let me explain. I wouldn't have spent $300+ on a chair (this or any other) without being entirely certain it was what I wanted and that I was committed to it. A company cannot run its business while worrying about a customers buyers remorse. You bought something. If it wasn't exactly what you wanted, that's your issue not MassDrop's. These are big purchases, unlike a tie or some metal dice, and should be treated carefully. I exercised patience and now I am in on this drop. I'm really happy about that as is everyone else that waited for exactly what they wanted. Your suggestion that MassDrop needs to change their business procedures is unconvincing and embarrassing.

DeffenderAdditionally, Mufti is making quite an assumption - in that Massdrop has a measurable delay between finalizing drops and drops going live. Only Massdrop knows the rough timetables of their process, and while it would be nice to look ahead to future drops to build up hype, you can't expect them to release concrete dates on items yet to be locked down. I'd guess Mufti to be equally infuriated had he passed on the chair he did buy, for an upcoming tank drop that ended up not materializing.

DeffenderLitteraly could not buy the tank series before this drop. Not from any retailer. Your logic has absolutely no application to your fake argument. A schedule can and should be created. Period. You are literally advocating idiocy. Any company should ALWAYS change their habits if it gains them profit. As this would have. Stop acting like you know anything about it. YOU personally would benefit from a schedule of releases. You wouldn't cry, you wouldn't argue, and you'd have ZERO problem with it if released tomorrow. Get off your horse.

LITERALLY my point. Make the time tables known. Thanks for supporting me, by pretending to argue!

MuftiYou have repeated your assertion but your conclusion does not logically follow from your argument. You propose that A: MassDrop give up the competitive advantage they gain through secrecy B: MassDrop publicly disclose whom has agreed to work with them before beginning sales forcing such manufactures to offer discounts to other retailers. How would that help me? If that happened MassDrop would have no edge, no niche, nothing to make them any different than Amazon and it would make them vulnerable to Wal-mart style price war tactics. It would drive them out of business in a heartbeat. I get that you're mad but you're not making sense. Sorry.
