I'm amazed people spend hundreds on these sorts of chairs...

vongHave you seen office equipment? It's practically the same. This is a sound investment. Some people sit 7+ hours a day. Would you want a crappy 200 bed to sleep in or would you rather spend that extra 200-400 for a better bed?

YakovPeople are obviously buying these as form over function. You could buy comfy office chairs for way less than these.

vongTrue, but you get what you pay for. After reading tons of reviews about quality build problems within the Big & Tall market, I decided to go with this solution. I've heard nothing but praise about them.

vongNot if you're 6 ft 5 and 270lbs. You spend "less" and get a chair that may least a year if you're lucky.

vongI sit in an aeron chair at work and those cost way more than this chair and have limited back and zero neck support. I can't recline the same as the dxracer. It's not as plushy. The dxracer is far more comfortable and fits me so much better at 6'2". I've had numerous office chairs both at various jobs and at home and they all come up short at some point. Hard to find some with head and neck support, especially for larger/taller people.

vongFor someone that's been looking at office chairs like crazy, 500 dollars is middle of the road.
