It's funny. To ship it to Canada, we pay $25 and then have duty and other fees on top of that. But why is it less then $13 to ship it to Germany? I think we are getting the crappy end of the stick on that one. We are a crap ton closer and pay twice the shipping. Not cool. Have to pass on another keyboard. Just not cool at all...

sudrosI just gave up. Every time when I see nice keyboard in price I would like to pay they ask me to pay 15-18$ for shipment to Poland. It's cheaper to order from aliexpress or just find alternative in local online shop. Paying additional 1/3-1/4 of price just for delivery? And then I need to pay tax as well? That's crappy deal. That's why I decided to not wait for good drop and just buy CM Storm Quickfire TK from local online shop. It will be cheaper, keyboard is very solid, and if something is wrong it is easier to work with support and not spend few months with massdrop support like my friend did (they returned his cash because he didn't wanted to wait another month or two). Strange is that sometimes shipment can cost here 5$ and sometimes almost 20$.. It is just hidden part of price imho.

DroozdzI humbly disagree.
A keyboard, especially a mechanical one with a metal backplate, has both volume and significant weight to it. Shipping even the smallest item from a U.S.-based eBay seller to Israel will normally cost me no less than $10, and even $15 at times, and that with regular USPS first class airmail without tracking.
Even the $28.71 charged by Massdrop on shipping this keyboard to Israel seems reasonable to me, even more so when compared to the $50+ charged by, say, Unicomp, to ship something similar here direct.
The percentage of the actual item price is irrelevant here. Keyboards weigh and take up a lot of space, both factors that always drive shipping costs high.
My 2 cents' worth (and no, I'm not affiliated with Massdrop).
