"Designed in Japan"... give me a break. Pretty sure this is a Chinese company registering a .jp domain name to remove the stigma against "made in china". Japanese wouldn't go out of their way to claim a Chinese team as #1.
Let's examine the official review left by the e-blue fat guy. Let's ignore the fact that he looks tired AF and stoned to hell - a very bad image for someone trying to portray "ergonomics" - his legs are not at a 90-degree angle, the lip of the seat creates pressure against his thighs, restricting blood flow.
The "wings" restrict your movement, something that's completely anti-ergonomics. He actually couldn't name a reason for the wings being there except for the fact that he gets to bump his head against it.
The armrest pads spin around without real purpose. The reason that you add adjustability to arm pads is to compliment width adjustment of the chair arms themselves. This allows you to change the angle of support for your arms depending on your body position and the task you're performing. What you're getting here is just a stiff chair arm with 2 pads you get to twiddle around aimlessly, wondering wtf you just sank your $279.99 into. But hey guys, this thing has LED!!! It glows red man.
