Sorry for the overly active posting...just wanted to share my thoughts on E-Blue in light of my "impassioned", if you will, opinions below.
I took the time to call their offices here in the US and spoke with a couple of folks there including the person who runs the show here in the US. My impression was that they are committed to servicing US customers and are not in the same category of those companies that I referenced previously. They seem committed and are people who care about their customers and realize that's key to the success of their brand here in the US. My apologies to them for the implications I made as to their commitment to their customers and my comments about their use of language in their posting. It was unnecessary.
That said I still feel the same about the chair itself but hope that others will make their own opinions.

I am generally a fan of Massdrop's product choices but as of late there seems to be a lot more filler... expansion of the amount of products with less emphasis on products people will really want and are top in their class. I'm seeing a lot of these overseas products appearing, much like what has happened to Amazon over the last few years with the serious decline of products and the introduction of Chinese knockoff manufacturers selling through Amazon to gain credibility they never deserved. I hope Massdrop stays true to their roots and bucks this trend. Products like this make me worry.
This seems to me to be a product for a problem that doesn't exist not to mention just a bad design in general. No one is going to put one of these at a desk, ever, since you couldn't get out of the thing given how close it would have to be to the desk to use with a keyboard/mouse. It has wheels but from what I can see they are far too small to ever work effectively on shag carpet... which most will have in their homes. For hard floors they would probably work fine.
For the living room, as others have stated, you'd have to be single on top of having poor judgement in interior design. I could see this in a dedicated game room, maybe, but the fact that it doesn't recline, for it's price, makes it a very poor value overall. Again as others have stated you can get a decent recliner for this price and it will likely be more comfortable.

Thanks B.Hutch, I get the message. I am a bit jaded as to what's happening here in the US with the flood of Chinese products that manipulate review systems and social media to gain false credibility and fool buyers into purchasing. From what I can tell E-Blue is NOT one of those, and I respect that. Looking at Amazon reviews and Fakespot they have a B rating and the reviews seem fairly honest. That said I prefer to buy from companies that show a serious commitment to supporting (not just selling to) their customers here in the US. I'd be curious to know more about the role of their HQ here (not their gaming centers).
My apologies if my comments were overly harsh or sounded like personal attacks on their representative who posted.
My feelings on the chair remain the same. I think I can appreciate why Massdrop is featuring this item in a drop, it's certainly unique, as you stated, but it just doesn't look like a good design or choice for a gaming chair on Massdrop especially considering the alternatives.

what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. Couldn't help myself.

Is there some meaning to the "Exhaust Vent/Loose cover" (I think that's what it says) labeling on the side panels?
Or is it just a clever way of saying that a person using this chair will be farting a lot?
Clearly this is meant for people's game rooms, not living rooms, and they seem fine for what they are, but I think that fairly decent recliners can be had for similar prices as well.

Presumably these are meant to go in people's living rooms for console gaming... and that being the case, the tacky branding and snake logos are a huge turn-off. Who wants to see that crap on their furniture?
You could get a decent easy chair for the same price.
What an odd gaming chair, would love to see how comfortable it is. Not sure if i like the design at all though.
LifelongCabooseWe have both samples in the office. I prefer the Pro Series chair. It is really comfortable. If anyone has any questions just let me know.
Tex-ArozziWould love to test one out and give feedback wish it shipped to Canada
