I really hope they bring back this drop very soon. I want some bassy, fun headphones with those ebony cups, but don't wanna go for the Fostex TH-X00. I feel like these would be intimately comparable.

shorty15Hmm, while I trust Creative and E-MU as companies, and Chan seems to also be a reputable friend, the email sales sound a bit under-the-table. Will they have full warranty? Do you have a receipt, proof of purchase, etc?
I'm willing to look into it, of course.

ZephyrusI understand that it is a bit of a gamble but plenty of other people on Headfi and Reddit have purchased wood cups and cans from Chan directly without any trouble. I do wish they had a more upfront way of purchasing these headphones here in the States but it looks like Massdrop is the only thing they have set up at the moment so if you want to buy these in-between drops, the only way to do it is through paypal and emailing him. I actually just emailed Chan about the warranty this morning. I let you know what he says. I do have a receipt/proof of purchase through paypal.

UzuzuOh yes, I know my T1 is the best, and the HD 600 is my best neutral reference set. But now I want a set of fun headphones, like these. Looks great, bass is boomy, sound is fun. You know what I mean? Then I'll have the best of all worlds.
