So does this thing need to be connected at all times to your home wifi network to function? Or can you fly it without the FPV function and off the network?

JProllzMy guess it that it acts as a wifi hotspot that you have to connect to with your phone or tablet. I don't think that it will connect to your home wifi. Only conjecture.
