A quick look at this duffle from eaglecreek in 60 L version, which I preferred to order on amazon (for 71 € delivered), not being sure to keep it for a long time and thus be able to get a refund. Indeed, I already own the duffle from mistery ranch in 40L and the aliteesigne in 46L. A small photo comparing the three and a feedback on the differences: I bought the alitte model first and I use it less often than the mistery ranch I take on almost every weekend, I explain why: - Certainly the allite is lighter, taller with a very nice color for my green model, and especially it will be forgotten in a drawer or another bag if you do not use it - But unlike the mistery model, it has no shape, the straps are less comfortable for extended wear and it has no interior storage, while there are several (4) on the mistery. In short, between these two, the bed is more like a trunk bottom bag that you won't consider if you know that you have to walk a mile or two to the station, but it makes sense at the bottom of the bag or suitcase, to allow you to bring back a lot of memories when you return. So much for these first two bags, let's go back to eaglecreek: - the finishes are good and like the bed, once folded in its pocket, it will take up little space. - it has two outer pockets at the ends, for shoes or dirty laundry, as on the mistery ranch - the fabric, although soft, seems strong enough to withstand most of your travels and bad weather, while having a total weight lower than mistery (0.9 kg < 1.5 kg) - on the other hand, just like bed rest, this flexible fabric will keep its shape less and be less comfortable to wear in the long term - still in the carrying and soft tissue section, it has no compression straps while the bed has an original system of strap and compression In short, I still hesitate to keep it because on some trips I need more volume than my mystery, although I would probably regret its carrying comfort. To conclude, my ideal duffle would be: - a rectangular format between the mistery and the eaglecreek (40 to 56 L); - a light fabric with an appearance like the alitte, a strength like eagle (cordura 500d rather than 1000d) and a stiffness like on mistery; - compression straps to modulate the volume; - carrying straps as comfortable as on the mistery - two pockets for accessories at the ends and four internal pockets as on the mistery; - a total weight between 1 and 1.2 kg; - a price ranging from $100 to $150; So final question, being split, do you think I should keep it?
