An updated version of EagleTac’s T20C2, the T25C2 boasts a handful of new design features you won’t find on its predecessor. For one, this pocket-size flashlight features a Cree XP-L LED capable of cranking out up to 1,250 LED lumens. And with its new module design, the T25C2 allows you to drop in an assortment of LEDs at different wavelengths and outputs—from infrared to ultraviolet—to suit your needs.
Note: At checkout, you can add on an EagleTac rechargeable and protected 2600mAh 18650 battery (+$9) as well as an Xtar MC1 Plus charger (+$10).
Thanks to the new C3300 Extreme 3 circuit—whose current-regulated design allows for constant brightness output at all levels without flicker—the T25C2 boasts a runtime of more than 150 hours on its lowest setting. On its highest setting, the flashlight’s runtime still stretches more than an hour on a 3400mAh 18650 battery, with the default energy saver engaged.
A tailcap switch allows the T25C2 to be quickly turned on and off, while the head offers control of the flashlight’s various modes. Mode 1 is equipped with strobe, medium, and turbo settings, while Mode 2 features low, medium, high, and turbo settings. The flashlight’s auxiliary settings include two SOS modes, two strobe modes, and two flash modes, as well as a beacon and turbo mode.
The Eagletac 2600mAh 18650 battery is designed for high-capacity and high-voltage underload, which adds longevity and power to any system. To charge it, add the Xtar MC1 Plus to the package. It’s a simple charger designed to output a safe 1A maximum constant current, and it can charge both the 18650 as well as other lithium-ion batteries—and at twice the amperage as the original MC1, no less. It’s also capable of detecting the battery being charged and will select the most appropriate current at either 0.5A or 1A.
