Just want to point out that a rectangular case makes a rotating a unidirectional bezel kind of awkward.

RayFCome to think of it, it wouldn’t be impossible from an engineering standpoint.
Instead of a bezel and a click spring, you could have a series of links, like a chain, on a track of ball bearings. Would be complex as heck, but now that I think about it would be pretty cool.
