Well I was intrigued until I saw the crap Tenacious by Spyderco. Seriously??? A harder to sharpen (not blade steel but the blade itself) on the fly partially serrated blade of cheap quality? Maybe if it was s30v, 12c, even CTS, I would jump on this but not for 8cr etc. In reality it is the serrations that kill it, not serrated I could deal with as I have a Kershaw Cryo I and II. I like them a lot but have better blades for occasions. Just my opinion.

Is this drop for the JET-I MK or for the JET-U? Cause the JET-U is the AAA model, and the pictures show a JET-I MK model which is AA.

I have these items with the exception of the pouch. I was curious to see if it was a deal so priced it out on Amazon. Looked good at first until I saw Massdrop is charging 8.95 for shipping. Turns out to be a couple bucks cheaper on Amazon for the whole bunch.
On a related note, why did Massdrop remove the shipping from the description page? I have to click "Join Drop" to see the shipping and it is an extra, seemingly unnecessary step.

ponagathosIt seems dishonest to hide the shipping costs. Since I bought several items from Massdrop, that page exposes me to a purchase by mistake. Then, there are all those "are you still interested" emails. I don't read 95% of my email, so the reminders are not a worry, but an unintended purchase is.

ScottieGNot sure. Maybe they do not want to show incorrect shipping for an international customer? Although, if they are logged in, it seems they would still be able to show for them as well.
