The Edox Chronoffshore-1 is a sporty and durable timepiece with a workhorse movement. The dial is made up of lumed markers and pencil-shaped hands. However, at 1 o’clock is a large Arabic numeral, conveying the watch’s namesake. Also conveying its namesake is the high water-resistance rating: a whopping 500 meters. That means you can take it for a dive with no problems, especially since it comes on a large, adjustable rubber strap. Inside the stainless steel case and beneath the sapphire crystal lies an Edox 80A 25-jewel movement with a 38-hour power reserve. If you prefer a more dressy look, opt for the model with the skeletonized dial. Both have a rotating bezel to track elapsed time.
