There is no limit listed on this drop and now I got an email telling me my order can not be made for 17 inch version. As there is no more stock This sucks! I joined on 5/23 😢

I don't understand the draw of something like this when a Silky saw is going to give you more saw length (at least more usable length because you don't have the frame hanging over the top) and a better easily replacable blade with different toothing options, and folds into arguably a smaller size.

Anyone know how this compares to the Sven Saw 15"? I have used the Sven saw and was very impressed with how it performed and how compact it broke down.

Love2FishI have a Sven, or I'd join this drop. EKA products are works of art, so I imagine it's perfectly comparable.

effstop64Both. Looks like the the orange parts are plastic, at the very least the folding handle is. The main frame is aluminum.

These blades don't look replaceable. That one end looks like a rivet of some type.

mikesyrFrom a review elsewhere:
"The Viking saw comes with three blades, a wood blade, a bone blade, and a metal blade, all retained in the top arm of the saw. The pin that they are on, at first look, seems to be riveted in place, making it seemingly impossible to change the blades without first drilling the rivet out. It’s really a pin that’s been press fit into one side and fits to a hole on the other side, making for a simple but solid hinge point. The blades are swung up and around to place on the pin in the handle for use. "
