I am absolutely stunned that so many people went for this $370 pencil sharpener. Actually, I'm more surprised people choose to use regular crappy pencils! Congrats if you snagged one of these, please post a pic of it mounted on the dash of your Lambo as soon as convenient.

EspionageStudioWhy would anyone pay $100 or more for a fountain pen when there are much cheaper pens available? There are some people who may feel as if having one of these something they wish to covet. Who are we to judge? Why would anyone come here to purchase something, along with others in the hopes of getting it hopefully, but not guaranteed lower then they could do so by themselves?

EspionageStudioWhat is funny is the last couple days, just perusing, have seen fountain pens for $27,000 or more, one maker of fountain pens sells his for $5400 - 5600 and up. I have seen fountain pens costing thousands of dollars. Now, I don't own anywhere near a Lambo, or even a Camry for that matter. However, I don't begrudge others for what makes them happy, what is their passion, what they can afford. We all can't afford Lambos or $340 pencils sharpeners, but to someone, they might not be out of their league. Bless them.

fountainpenladyWell in terms of writing with a fountain pen versus a pencil, one lasts decades and is possibly a piece of art that can be resold or handed down through family members. Giving a fountain pen as a gift is far from unheard of. However, pencils are disposable. A pencil can only be so nice. It's made of wood, with a graphite center, which deteriorates very quickly. And writing with them feel essentially the same. The sharpener, while nice, genuinely can only sharpen the pencil slightly better, considering it's still just shaving off wood in a specific manner. So why pay that much?
