years ago when someone asked why I would spend over 100 on a folding knife, I made the comment that if you collect knives and value craftsmanship, it's no different than any other tool. Some people probably collect high end staplers and wouldn't have a problem spending the same amount if that's their particular thing. Didn't think I would see it come true, but here it is.

lobsterYou spent over $100 for a folding knife 'cause it offers not only beautiful/elegant craftsmanship that is candy to the eyes but also to appreciate the smooth tactile sensation of opening and closing the folding knife because of the quality built. I bet I'm not the only one who spent more time flipping and closing the expensive folding knives than actually use it as a cutting tool. In other words, it is fun and pleasurable to "play" with the high-end folding knives.
I'm seeing the same "play factor" here with this high quality stapler. Per Amazon customers' feedback, the feeling of pressing this stapler is out of the world compared to the everyday office staplers. Thus, having this stapler offers a diversity of "playful" gadgets to relax our mind when we need a break. So yes, I'll pound away this stapler once it arrives just to "feel" the sensation of the smooth action of stapling.
It is not often that utility tools become playful gadgets; thus when an endearing craftsman built an utility tool that surpassed the standard quality and raised it to a level that is worthy of appreciation, one must be thankful for such offers if one can afford it.
Cheers!
