Please suggest the best low-cost controller board to buy for supporting this kit. I had ordered the raspberry pi kit, which was cancelled today and that one came with an optional controller. It would be nice to have the same option here. Failing that, please suggest one. I went to elecfreaks.com, but I can't be sure which would be the right one. Thanks much.-Evan

I'm interested in this drop, but I'm a little confused. Forgive me if I missed this info, I can't seem to find it on their site: - Can you use a different IDE over Scratch and EFBlock to program these? - Exactly which Arduino boards (not including Freaduino) are compatible with these? Are they the ones from this dropdown menu on EFBlock?

Does anyone know if these would interface easily with a Raspberry Pi 3b? Or is the kit connectors very different? Are Wikis all for Arduino?

It isn't entirely clear if there's an Arduino included or not, but it doesn't look like it to me? http://www.elecfreaks.com/estore/freaduino-octopus-brick-kit-24-in-1.html So you'd need to have one, or pick one up also. The sensors seem decent, and they offer more documentation than a lot of the kits you see, so that's a plus.

I'm pretty new to Arduino... Can anyone comment on this kit and why it's a great thing, and/or how easy it is to use?
