Have one of these. Would pass if your dev board requires the use of the monitors EID. The controller doesn't report back the monitors resolution correctly thus has issues out of the box on any SBC. RPI's have "relatively easy" compensation to actually set the native resolution but if you use something else then good luck.

Anyone know if this would connect to a Sparky board (has HDMI) running Allo USB? https://www.allo.com/sparky/usbridge.html

What does it mean that it can be upped to 1080p?

thattolleyguyI'm 99% sure it's just a misleading way of saying it can receive a 1080p signal, which it will display at 480p.

rozifusAgree- pretty sure it's referring to upscaling, which you could word/interpret vaguely enough to say that Edit: Although, it is in the specifications ... possibly introducing 1080p removes touch screen ability? If it's simply upscaling the description is almost intentionally misleading

jonyvSeems like it.
The only thing that I would be concerned about is the performance as a monitor... There is no indication of contrast ratio or backlight intensity.
