Any chance this would work with iOS devices with an Apple Lightning to HDMI adapter and display iTunes and app content? Also, how bright is it?
Seems like a decent choice for a back seat monitor. Combine it with some Bluetooth headphones and kids (adults, too!) would be sucked in for the duration of any long drive.
godddd why is everyone totally incapable of producing a diy touchscreen display at a usable resolution? this is like the 5th sub 1080p trashscreen that massdrop has hosted. ugh, whatever.
Addison_woodsWouldn’t make anything intended for display on a 7” phone screen sized display impossibly small and very difficult to render, and prepping those very same assets on a normal display just as difficult? I’m asking because I too am trying to figure out why they haven’t done so yet, apart from the display becoming too costly to be desirable for a prototype or hobbyist maker on a budget.
Addison_woodsI’m gonna guess that the image scaling factor for a 1080p screen at this price range is not feasible for a 7 inch capacitive touch display.
